Behind the Scenes – 5th Edition

Longtime resident of Joliet and retired from working at Joliet Public Schools, Al Senne is Cool Water Jewelry’s resident welder.  Al’s work for Cool Water consists of creating and welding our custom jewelry stands, and the drilling of components.  Al enjoys welding, as according to him, “It’s going to be there after I die.” He says this with a small twitch of a smile and a twinkle in his eye! (We enjoy Al’s subtle sense of humor!)

Al also welds his own ornamental yard creations.  His wife Diana smiles, “He likes to be creative!”   Al make iron wine glass holders, ornamental flowers & cattails, and even quirky one-of-a-kind birds out of old yard tools!  Al and Diana sell his creations at the Reed Point Sheep Drive every Labor Day Weekend. Pollination Floral & Boutique located in Laurel, MT also has a selection of Al’s work on display and for sale!

Al’s talents don’t stop at welding; he enjoys refinishing antique tables. Al’s restoration work is beautiful!

When asked about his favorite Cool Water jewelry…Al didn’t have much of a preference.  Imagine that! However, Diana likes the coin jewelry and treasures her Letter Token Necklace (#NC146-49).
